We’re into the second month of the New Year and if you’re like me, you’re wondering what happened to January. As we commemorate February as Black History Month, there is a long list of great African Americans brothers and sisters who have contributed to making America and the world a better place to live. We honor the legacy of our past ancestors and honor our present and future history makers.
In our own Cincinnati A&T Alumni Chapter, there are many great pioneers and current Aggies who have made a significant contribution to his/her own profession and the community at - large. To that end, our chapter has nominated Gary Holloway for the Julia S. Brooks Achievement Award with the N. C. A&T Alumni Association, Inc. My recommendations for Gary to be considered for the award consisted of Gary’s faithful, loyal and dedicated commitment to our Chapter and A&T. I am so excited that this humble Cincinnati Aggie got the unanimous endorsement from our chapter for this prestigious award. It is my hope and prayer that Gary is selected as the Julia S. Brooks Achievement Award recipient!!!! My thanks to all the Cincinnati Aggies who have supported and will support the various venues through our Chapter.
With Aggie Pride,
Irv
