The momentum is up for our meeting attendance! We had fourteen (14) Aggies to attend our meeting on April 24 at the home of Freda and James Allen. We encourage everyone to attend
our meeting. Rita Morgan will surely host us well and let us not disappoint her with a low attendance on May 22.
Here’s a look at what’s happening in our new future:
- Our seventh year participating in “Walk for the Hunger” on Memorial Day (May 31) is right around the corner. Rickey Johnson has coordinated this event for the past six years!
- On July 17 will have our Annual Blue and Gold picnic at G.E. Park. More details will be forthcoming on both these events.
- June will mark our Chapter’s 45th Anniversary. “We’re going to have a celebration on Saturday, August 28 at Water Edge Club House. More details will be forthcoming.
- James Allen and others have set September 10 at BelWood Golf Course for our annual golf scholarship tournament. He encourages everyone to seek sponsorship through your work place setting and/or other sponsorship venues.
- CABUCA College Fair will be September 25 from noon to 4:00 pm at Tryed New Beginning Church on Reading Road.
I want to remind and encourage folks to make a contribution to the Annual Giving Fund (Foundation). See the flyer for more information. I want to personally thank all Cincinnati Aggies
who have made a donation and encourage others to make a donation. To be a card-carrying NC A&T State University Alumni Association member, you must donate a minimum of $50.00 toward the annual giving campaign. Deadline is June 30.
With Aggie Pride,
